BASIC FUNCTION OF THE UNIT:

To carry out technical services related to the operation of construction, mechanical and electrical installations of all kinds of buildings that have been completed and put into service, to prepare technical documents related to all kinds of maintenance and repair, to carry out maintenance and repair works.

DUTIES

  1. To determine the maintenance and repair needs of existing buildings and facilities in line with the demands of our university units,
  2. Cleaning, maintenance, installation and maintenance of drinking and irrigation water networks and wells, water tanks of campuses, establishment and maintenance of chlorination system, ensuring uninterrupted operation of sewerage, medium voltage, low voltage electrical networks, transformer centers, generators, elevators, air conditioning and ventilation plants, 10 communication infrastructure, To prepare technical documents and documents related to maintenance and repairs,
  3. To determine general policies at the management level regarding the activities specified as the main function of the unit and directly managed, and to make suggestions to the head of the department in this regard,
  4. To prepare the annual work programs for the major repairs, which are under the responsibility of the Construction and Technical Department of the miscellaneous works project in the investment program, in cooperation with the relevant units. To determine the training needs of the personnel, to ensure that they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and equipment to fulfill their responsibilities, to implement / enforce the provisions of the "Occupational Health and Law" No. 6331, to follow the procedures of the employees regarding SSI,
  5. To direct the task distribution between the units, to coordinate the works.
  6. To transfer the work and documents transferred to the Maintenance, Repair and Operation Branch Directorate to the relevant personnel, to prepare the reply letters, to follow up the signatures of the daily works and to ensure that they are concluded,
  7. To keep and update statistical information about the completed repair works and to prepare reports,
  8. Supervising the activities of affiliated units,
  9. To perform other duties assigned by the director and the Head of the Unit.
